What better way to burn calories, clear your head, get your lungs strong and help prevent disease! Hiking can burn up to 250 calories an hour!! Not sure what ‘hiking’ actually means?? The definition of hiking is to walk for a long distance, especially cross country or in the woods. So get out there and get walking on some trails! If your not sure where to start, I did some research and The Hiking Project website has a great resource to find trails wherever you may be and even a hiking buddy!!
